Campus Pride Month

Students at Canes Come Out for Pride event

We celebrate Campus Pride Month in April to highlight the LBGTQ community! While June is nationally recognized as Pride, we are cognizant that most students are not on campus in June, so having Pride Month in April allows us to celebrate and increase visibility for our LGBTQIA+ students while college classes are in session.

Campus Pride Month 2020

This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, all in-person events, meetings, and activities (regardless of size) for the remainder of the semester have been canceled. Therefore, we are moving Pride Month to the digital realm! Please visit the University’s dedicated COVID-19 site, which can be found at for the most up-to-date source of information regarding the University’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

For our virtual celebration of Pride, please follow our social media channels, and subscribe to our newsletter, as we’ll be releasing daily content. Additionally, join a larger conversation hosted by Campus Pride and use the hashtag #QueerYourCampus on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Post your own photos of how you’re celebrating Pride and engage in the virtual festivities!
