Bisexual Resource Center (BRC)
The Bisexual Resource Center, founded in 1985, works to increase bisexual visibility and heightens awareness about bisexuality throughout the LGBTQ+ and straight communities. Because bisexuality is marginalized both within the LGBTQ+ community and outside the community, the BRC provides support to the bisexual community while raising public consciousness about bisexuality.
Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN)
GLSEN is the leading national organization aiming to ensure safe schools for all regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. GLSEN was founded in 1990 by a small group of Massachusetts teachers who sought to combat the bullying and discrimination faced daily by LGBTQ+ students. Today, GLSEN does extensive work in LGBTQ+ empowerment and affirmation within K-12 schools.
The Human Rights Campaign is the largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for LGBTQ+ Americans. There are over a million members and supporters of HRC committed to ending discrimination against LGBTQ+ people and achieving a world with fundamental equity for all.
As the United States' oldest national LGBTQ+ advocacy group, the National LGBTQ Task Force mobilizes activists across the nation to transform society into one where every person is free to be themselves. They seek to deconstruct the discrimination faced by the LGBTQ+ community by building strength in local and state activists and organizing campaigns to create public support for LGBTQ+ equality.
The Pipeline Project is a recruitment and leadership advancement initiative aiming to significantly increase diversity within the LGBTQ+ rights, advocacy, and service sector.
Transgender Foundation of America (TFA)
Based in Houston, the Transgender Foundation of America is a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of transgender people by providing services, removing barriers to accessing services, and advocating for Trans rights.
